“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

– Joshua 1:9

Trust. People have different views on this but one common thing that we have is this: We believe that once it is broken, it can never be brought back again in the same way as before.

There is someone we can entrust to without the fear of it being broken: God. He has kept every Word He has spoken and every prophecy was fulfilled. His power is endless and at His whim everything will be as He said. His power over everything is magnificent. His majestic glory is an assurance that He will remain on our side even at the darkest days.

Every story in the Bible is a testament of His trustworthiness. Even when times seem bleak and problems rain down, He remained steadfast for His people. Trust to God and His assurance is what kept he prophets and the apostles firm on their belief and deeds, trusting Him no matter what happens.

It is comforting that we have a powerful God that we can trust to. This week, let us entrust Him our lives, our problems and our aspirations, and let Him take us to where He desires us to.

God’s trustworthiness shows that He is worth more than all the gold and more powerful than all the storms.
