When Problems turn into Blessings

Barasoain Weekly Reflection for 22 – 28 April 2018

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

– Proverbs 3:5-6

The final week of March is a heart-wrenching week for me. Problems and troubles kept pouring in as if there is no end to them. Its as if you just want to run away and rest from the problems you have.

Now April, on the second week I understood all of my problems why they kept turning on those days. The troubles I am encountering are actually blessings because God is planning something better for me. My plans are not the best, so God made a way – through the problems – to introduce something far better.

Sometimes we get upset when what we plan do not go as we hope to. In our desire to control our lives, we forget that God has the ultimate control over it. In our lives, we find that no matter how much we desire to control it, God is always on hand about it. The plan of God is always greater than our own.

The power of God is shown on our lives, let us accept His guidance and let Him control our lives, for He knows what is the best for all of us.

Put God in the center of your life and everything else will follow.
