Barasoain Weekly Reflection for 16 – 22 July 2017

“So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.”

Psalm 90:12

They say that time is the most important non-renewable resource a person has. Once it was spent improperly, it cannot be taken back. Considering we have only a limited number of days in our lives it may be trivial to consider it.

Many of our priorities and tasks demand time from us, be it for our school works, occupational duties and our family. We may end up asking “Is there any time left for myself?”

Not surprisingly, God is also asking a few moments from us. Instead of asking us to do a task similar to what most jobs tend to do to us, we are being asked to reflect, refresh and reinvigorate ourselves in the loving arms of God. He longs for us, wanting us to talk with Him about on how we do.

God is not asking much from our time, all He wants is for us to have a thriving relationship with Him. Are you going to open your heart for Him?

Time spent on God is never wasted.
