“When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”

John 11:43

A friend of mine has his grandmother died after a lengthy battle with cancer. Seeing the devastation on his eyes, it is important to personally come into the wake in their house and pay respects at the same time give the comforting assurance of my presence on one of the challenges of his life.

Which made me thought about the story of Lazarus: Jesus Christ came to his house days after his death. After Jesus called his name telling him to rise, he came out in flesh alive.

Death is just a temporary state of ours because Jesus Christ rose from it three days after His crucifixion. Our connection to Him means that we will also receive the gift of eternal life as it is a gift given to us for free. On that day, there will be no more disease, sorrow, death and agony but rather glory, joy and peace.

What a wonderful gift is given to us by God thru His son Jesus Christ.

We die because of our original sin, we will live eternally because of Christ paying for our sins.
