UntitledBarasoain Weekly Reflection for 28 February – 5 March 2016

“Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Galatians 6:2

This week is going to be busy for all of us. We are presently undertaking a fundraising project by holding a concert and the proceeds will be used for our scholarship program. Such an endeavor is not only big but also demanding.

Yet, despite the enormity of the project, we went on knowing that the project is not for ourselves but to help the deserving poor students within the parish. These students are relying on our efforts to free themselves from the condition they are in. Knowing those students will have hope in a bright future through our efforts gives us smile and happiness for the glory of God.

Every one of us can be an instrument of God in helping others and spreading His love. We all just need to be willing to open our hearts for the needy and those who wishes for His mercy and forgiveness. We are all saved by God, and we too can save others by becoming an instrument of that love. Every step counts no matter how big or small it is.

This week, let us ponder on how God can use us to bring others closer to Him.

We can help because we are saved.
