UntitledBarasoain Weekly Reflection for 21 – 27 February 2016

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:19

I have been watching the presidential debates while writing this article. I have noticed that the candidates are promising all sorts to woo voters. However, there is one question that left everyone pondering: “Where to get the funds for all your programs?”

The question is simple but it shows how a candidate will be able to do his/her promise. Anything is possible, as long as you have the fund but knowing that funds are scarce, it is a question on how to get it or else promises are broken.

There is someone we know that can promise and deliver yet He is not running for any public office. God is a supreme being that has given promises to us, and He has delivered all these promises. God promises and God delivers, though not always in the way we expect it but we can be sure it is for the best of us.

God’s greatest manifestation of His promise is His son Jesus Christ, whom He sent to us to deliver us from our sins. Jesus Christ is the Word of God made flesh and through His son God carried His plan of salvation.

With God, we can be sure that whatever He has promised or said will come true, no matter what happens.

Jesus Christ showed that God’s promises are never broken.
