Barasoain Weekly Reflection for 10 – 16 January 2016
““Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”
One of the surefire ways that a person can earn money is to work for it. After all, we need money to buy things.
But what if, there is an important occasion that you need to attend to, and our job is in the way. What are you going to choose?
There have been times that we have faced his dilemma in one way or the other, and surely that did not gave us a pleasant time while thinking. Some of us might decide to forego the occasion while others will chose the occasion more than the work, depending on the situation.
Our life is full of choices greater than work vs. life. It is a constant choice between good and evil, between the eternal and the temporal, the spiritual and the material, etc. These choices, have much greater impact than mentioned above since it does not only affects our life here on Earth but also our fate beyond the grave.
Today, let us ask God for wisdom and help in letting us know the right choice in life. We might not know easily the best choice, but we can count on God to provide us the best choice for us.
